However, the user interface and available tools are a bit confusing, and there are some strange omissions, such as the lack of full-res RAW capture and 24fps video. Despite these drawbacks, the phone's camera system is versatile and effective, with a 200-megapixel Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera and a 50-megapixel main camera. The telephoto camera is particularly impressive, with seven stops of stabilization and a 10x hybrid zoom. The phone's dynamic range and color accuracy are also superb, and the image processing pipeline can handle most challenges. The phone's versatility doesn't mean the camera UI is filled with filler, and the phone can freeze action and capture objects and scenes with a bokeh effect. The video side of things is also impressive, with excellent stabilization and smooth handheld recording. Overall, the Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max is a strong contender in the smartphone market, with a competitive camera system and a premium build. However, the price of around $1,300 USD makes the omissions more glaring, and the Android virtualization may not be as much of a roadblock as it once was.
